Welcome

Welcome to CC’s Nursery
We feel that it is vital for parents to have as much information as possible before deciding on their child's early education. We hope that the following information will be of both interest and value in helping you to make that all important decision.

We are very proud of our nursery. We are a very inclusive nursery where every child matters, meeting the individual needs of both children and parents, and enabling children to reach their full potential.

What children experience in nursery can create strong and lasting foundations on which to build in later life, so we believe it is essential that the first experiences at CC’s Nursery are both enjoyableand of the highest quality.

CC's Nursery is carefully designed to ensure that the children's needs are met, in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment, with a positive Creative atmosphere. We ensure children have fun whilst in an educational and developmental manner.

We are registered for children from 2 to 8 yrs.

The Curriculum

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a framework which supports your child’s learning and development from birth to fiveyears. The framework is based on four important principles.

A Unique Child Every child is a competent learner from birth who can beresilient, capable, confident and self-assured.
Positive Relationships Children learn to be strong and independent from abase of loving and secure relationships with parents and/or a key person.
Enabling Environments The environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children’s development and learning.
Learning and Development Children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates and all areas of learning and development are equally important and interconnected.

Learning Through Play

Play is vital for children. It is through play that young children learn, grow, gain confidence and have fun.

The EYFS helps us to provide appropriate play experiences to enable children to develop in all areas. It enables us to recognise children’s strengths and areas they may need more support todevelop new skills. The activities we provide for children will prepare them to progress with confidence and underpin the skills they need to work towards the Early Learning Goals.

Areas of learning include:-

Communication, language and literacy
Personal, social and emotional development
Problem solving, reasoning and numeracy
Creative development
Physical development
Knowledge and understanding of the world

Each individual child will learn through high quality play, that is tailored to their individual needs.

CC's nursery strongly believes in equality. We offer multi cultural childcare as a great opportunity for the children to learn and respect different origins, cultures and beliefs.
